Calathea Musaica is the one they call the Network Plant: every leaf is printed with a fine grid of lighter green lines, like a circuit board or a mosaic laid out by hand. Zoom in and it gets better - the pattern holds all the way down to the smallest vein.
Here is the plot twist: it is also the toughest calathea we sell. Where its cousins faint over tap water and dry air, Musaica shrugs and grows. Collectors hunt it for the pattern; everyone else keeps it because it lives.
Why You'll Love It
- A glowing green network pattern on every leaf
- The hardiest calathea in the catalog
- Completely non-toxic to cats and dogs
- Sold by The Sill as "Network" - you found it here for less
Plant Care
- Light: Medium indirect light; tolerates lower light
- Water: Keep soil lightly moist; more forgiving than most calatheas
- Difficulty: Easy - for a calathea, remarkably so
- Growth: Bushy clumps, leaves about hand-sized
- Humidity: Enjoys humidity but tolerates average rooms
- Pet Friendly: Yes - listed non-toxic to cats and dogs
