Hoya Rope Plant grows the strangest leaves in the hoya family: thick, curled, and twisted along the vine until each stem looks like a length of green rope. This is the original all-green form, the partner to our Variegated Hoya Rope Plant, and the one collectors start with.
It is a slow, patient plant that rewards bright light with tight curls and, on mature vines, clusters of waxy pink star flowers that smell faintly of chocolate. Let it trail from a high shelf and it becomes sculpture.
Why You'll Love It
- Twisted rope vines unlike any other houseplant
- Waxy pink flower clusters on mature plants
- Completely non-toxic to cats and dogs
- The classic form of a collector favorite
